Out timber preservation application preserves the timber and stops the fungi attack together with rotting, splitting, warping and so on.
TERMITICIDE REPLENISHMENT SYSTEM
Dunrite has entered the Pre-construction arena using the latest Termiticide Replenishment System (TRS) created which has a 50 year warranty. The TRS is a high pressure hose that will expand under high pressure (upto 350psi), and release particles that would otherwise block the application of the chemical through small perforations. This approved system in my opinion has such a superior advantage over all other replenishment systems on the market.
INFRA RED IN WALL CAMERAS
Infra Red in Wall Cameras are a precise way of locating any termite activity in the smallest cavities. OPTIC FIBRE BORESCOPE
Where necessary, we can make a 6mm hole in the wall and insert an Optic Fibre Borescope into the wall cavity to visually identify the termite or movement.
MOISTURE METERS
Moisture Meters by Tramex are also utilised in the detection of possible damp spots for subterranean termites by scanning all the walls.
MICROWAVE TERMITE TRACKING SYSTEM
Dunrite uses a Microwave Termite Tracking System created by Termatrac. The Termatrac is one of the high tech pieces of equipment enjoyed by Dunrite technicians. We can give a definitive answer to the presence of active subterranean termites without cutting squares in a wall. This is achieved via a microwave beam being interrupted by the termites passing through the beam, which is indicated on the monitor.
BORON TREATMENTS
To timber will stop subterranean termites from eating the timber that has been sprayed. When ‘octa-borates’ enter timber they are in the timber for the life of the timber. The only antithesis is the continual washing of the timber. Born treatment can be applied to any building and is best applied at the time of construction.
